Dunfermline Bus Station and multi-storey Car Park was built in 1984 and demolished in 2006.
Commissioned by Fife County council and designed by architect G. H. McConnell, the four-storey building featured seven parking decks with space for 545 cars. On the lowest level, the bus station had 11 stances.
The building was connected to the Kingsgate shopping centre via a covered link.
Made up of 433 alternating hyperbolic parabola fins, the facade was one of the most notable features of this building. The modeled panels were constructed from glass reinforced cement (GRC) with a fluted exterior surface finish.
The concrete parapet roof is finished with reconstituted slate panels.
