The Architects were Robert McPhail and Iain Macrae. Demolished a few years ago now.

“I spent months stencilling up plans and title boxes, all in the days before CAD.

“The building apparently inspired a whole collection of white boxes from the Strathclye Architecture Students.

“The Press Bar wanted too much money to move so the building wrapped round it.”
